Inspired in the patterns created by overlapping branches and stems, Botanica is a series of one of kind bonechina vases. Each piece is hand carved with a line pattern that resembles the movement of growing plants.
The material is high fired at 1280°C without any contention to keep its shape. Bonechina is allowed to move and distort freely during firing. The outcome is a number of vases crafted from the same mold but evolving and pulling off its shape by the end of the process. Each vase finds its own silhouette during the firing, flowing and distorting differently, like the growing branches of a tree or the stem of a flower.
